we can change upper file/directory name to lower using tr.
$ls
04 bernard herrmann - twisted nerve.mp3 mac son.xls
110029.pdf matrixdump

i want to change these files names to UPPER character.

$ ls | tr "[:lower:]" "[:upper:]"
